Cheque Writer fills in the date, payee, amount and amount-in-words on genuine blank cheques issued by the bank — it never generates cheques or replicates security features — and manages the full cheque lifecycle around them.
01Challenge
Every bank's cheque layout differs, and every printer feeds paper slightly differently. Writing cheques by hand is slow and error-prone; printing has to land exactly on the lines.
02Approach
A drag-and-drop template designer with millimetre coordinates, grid overlay and per-field typography, plus printer calibration with offsets, scaling and a printable test grid. It only fills genuine leaves issued by the bank — it never generates cheques or imitates security features.
03Result
Cheque history, a running-balance register, post-dated tracking, bank and payee management and role-based permissions — exportable to Excel, PDF and CSV.
